STATEMENT ABOUT STUDIO ART MAKING

“I explore how play, process, and visual language shape one another. Working across painting, sculpture, print, and digital media, I create layered compositions that combine abstraction, character, and gesture through an intuitive, improvisational approach.

A key part of my practice is what I call doodle logic—a way of drawing that favors instinct and discovery. The characters that surface aren’t narrative; they personify energy, rhythm, and mood, acting as traces of fleeting thoughts and emotional impressions.”
